Pòoko runs across the desert as life-giving rain clouds gather upon the horizon accompanied by butterflies. She also carries elements of prayers - rainclouds that bless all life. Pòoko jumps over a migration spiral and friendship symbol representing the journey of dogs and people. The footprints celebrate the oldest find in the American southwest of ancient tracks over 2,500 years old. Dogs continue to be a part of traditional ceremonies, stories, art, and the spiritual world.
The artwork is printed with fade and water-resistant inks on a 6-inch (15.24 cm) square canvas with a wood frame. Print includes description, the artist's biography, and indigenous culture details. A sawtooth hanger and a resealable envelope with a hanging tab offer protection.
