Gerald Dawavendewa (Hopi & Cherokee)

A Insect Spirit mediates and prays with a feathered staff as rain clouds gather across a lighting filled sky. Dragonflies and butterflies flutter together to pronounce the coming of rain and are a symbol of moisture. Lighting represents the fertilizing of plant life upon the earth. Together, they bring life giving moisture to a desert land.
