Dawavendewa Notecards & Prints

Designs are created by Gerald Dawavendewa that reflects the rich Native American Indian culture. Each card represents a part of life, history, and the spiritual world of the Hopi and Cherokee people.
Note Cards include description and biography of the artist. Vertical format on recycled acid-free card and measures 5 by 7 inches. Blank inside and comes with envelope and sticker seal. Packaged in a clear re-sealable sleeve. Notecards Will fit a 5 by 7 inch frame.
Notecards can also be ordered as 11 by 14 inche prints. Prints are created using archival ink for longevity on heavy weight matte paper. Prints are matted are buffed-pH neutral board and framed with bevel cut matte board. Print is mounted on acid free 100% recycled board and packaged with a clear durable envelope for protection. Prints include a description and biography and will fit a standard frame.

Kosahare Notecard Collecton

With a distinctly black and white striped body, The Koshare amuse people with their comical antics - playing tug of war with the children, making fun of current events, but also using humor to demonstrate the improper way of life. In the end, the Katsinam come to remind the Koshare to live in humility - Na’okiwqatsi. Often the Koshare visit during summer when the Katsinam travel to the Hopi villages to perform ceremonies in the plaza.
